Pages of the Platform and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

A script may be used to transmit user information.

We do not independently collect personal information directly from users under the age of 13 through Social Media Platforms. For YouTube, data collection, use, and consent mechanisms are governed by YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. BIOMETRIC INFORMATION

We do not store biometric information, but utilize a third party, Persona to verify that our users are a real person and to allow us to confirm future photos, videos or other content uploaded match the identity used when signing up for the Platform using our selfie tool. We may also provide an optional feature through which users can use a government ID to verify the name and identity used when signing up for the Platform. We rely on trusted third-party identity verification providers to facilitate real person verification, identity-based content verification, and our optional ID-based identity verification features through the use of biometric facial analysis and comparison technology, which may include use of a combination of artificial intelligence tools and statistical algorithms to analyze the facial images captured by the selfie tool (along with additional signals from your device and interaction with the Platform) to confirm the individual in the image is a real person (as opposed to a picture or digital replica of a person) and to extract a biometric facial template that uniquely identifies the individual present in the image. Through this process, the verification providers will typically generate a “confidence score” representing the confidence level that the images of the individuals match, which we or the relevant provider may use in determining the level of confidence that the individual in the uploaded content is the same individual that was present in the preliminary reference selfie. If the “confidence score” is too low, the uploaded content may be rejected and the relevant account may be flagged for potential fraudulent activity.

The biometric facial template, along with the preliminary reference selfie, is stored by our trusted third-party identity verification providers to be used as a reference when future photos, videos or other content are uploaded to the Platform.

Please note we do not receive any facial biometric information generated from the images, and our identity verification providers retain biometric information in accordance with their privacy policies. We do not use, disclose, or retain biometric information for any other commercial purposes.
